personal information about owners from and fbi laptop. what does this mean for you. melanie a.m. wick has the details. >> that's right. we are getting more developments as the days go on fining out exactly where this information came from, who is responsible for it. apple itself has not commented on it. the group that says it did the hacking calls itself antisec or antisecurity and they say their mission is to steal and leak classified government information. we want to show you where this information first came out. they are loosely affiliated with the group anonymous and so they tweeted this out a couple of days ago and it just got bigger after that saying they had basically stolen all of these apple i. d. numbers from and fbi laptop. and here is the information here. they say they posted one million apple i. d. s and the use are names connected to antisec says the entire file they got contained use are names, zip codes, cell phone numbers and addresses. but it shows here just the device name and number. it says it got the file by hacking into an fbi agent. antisec saws the entire file

hacker group said it stole personal information from an fbi laptop. melanie alnwick has more on this. >> reporter: the group calls itself antisect for saint security and -- for antisecurity and it claims it was able to hack into an fbi agent's laptop to find the file. it wants the public to know, in its words, the fbi is using this apple i.d. information for a tracking people project. anti-sect linked up with the group anonymous to publicize the data breach. many sites posted the data. 1million information datas linked to iphones and ipads and the device name. the fbi disputed the claims saying the bureau never asked for or possessed a file of apple i.d. information. still, many organizations have been able to verify the apple i.d.'s posted are valid. every apple device has a unique identification number. it let's itunes and ideveloppers know which is running which app. for example, it can allow a game developer to keep track of the high score. they found 12 million apple i.d.'s and there is a data file with user names, zip codes, cell phone numbers and addresses but shows just the 1

friday. the fbi says adel daoud was intent on killing as many americans as possible. according to the criminal complaint, the 18-year-old from hillside illinois drove a green jeep cherokee full of what he thought was explosives to a downtown chicago nightclub and then attempted to detonate it. the teenager first came to the fbi's attention in 2011 when he sent e-mails sympathizing with bin laden, writing in one that osama wasn't crazy for wanting to destroy america. eventually court papers say daoud met with an undercover agent posing as an extremist. he picked the unnamed nightclub from google maps and allegedly told the agent he wanted the attack to be massive enough to make it in the news, like tonight. authorities say daoud was bent on terrorism, vowing repeatedly that it was in his heart. >> we're going to see more and more examples of this type of self-radicalization. this is the new wave in the terrorist threat, but it doesn't mean it's a threat that we can't deal with. >> a kid that i know, adel is an angel. he helped me -- my husband was away, and he helped me start the lawn

hoffa? a tip has led the fbi to eastern michigan in hopes of finding the former teamster's president. a man in the town of rosille says he saw other men bury a body just hours after hoffa went missing in 1975. hoffa was last seen meeting with two suspected mafia members at a detroit restaurant. police say they are taking the tip seriously, but they don't expect to actually find hoffa's body. >> we believe he's credible enough that he believes what he saw, that something took place that day out of the ordinary. we do not believe it's jimmy hoffa. we are not making that assumption. the timeline doesn't exactly add um to be mr. hoffa. >> there are conspiracy theories on where hoffa is buried, including beneath giants stadium in new jersey or even the ground of the white house. >>> the university of california has settled with 21 students who were pepper sprayed while protesting as part of the occupy movement. this video was from last november when campus police doused the students with pepper spray while they were peacefully protesting. the school has agreed to pay each student about $3
